Tibet - a free nation

Hundreds of Tibetan refugee in Nepal staged a sit-in at UN office demanding Justice and Independent Investigation of Killings in Tibet. Police intervened with a baton charge and arrested more than 50 
protestors.






















Trouble began when security guards had to tackle a man identified as a Green Party activist as he tried to reach torchbearer and 400-metres hurdles world champion Stephane Diagana at the Eiffel Tower.





















The Olympic torch was met with widespread protests and scuffles between demonstrators and police Sunday as thousands turned out to protest Olympic host China's human rights record and its recent clampdown on Tibet.
 



















 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Free Tibet / Anti-China protests (San Francisco)





The march, which was expected to take six months, reaching Tibet during the August 8-24 Beijing Olimpics in a protest against China’s rule over their homeland, began on Monday in Dharamshala, north-India home of the Dalai Lama and the Tibetan government-in-exile.
